Karen Michalski

Karen Michalski, age 75, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on July 7th, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 22nd, 1945 to Frank and Clara (Kolanowski) Trzcinski. Karen was preceded in death by her parents. She married Ervin Michalski on February 20th, 1965 and he survives. Karen was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church in French Lick. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening and especially her grandchildren. Karen is survived by: Husband Ervin Michalski French Lick, Indiana (1) Son David (Nicole) Michalski Lowell, Indiana (2) Daughters Susan (Terry) Karcher Corydon, Indiana Julie McCormick French Lick, Indiana (1) Sister Linda Gutowski French Lick, Indiana (9) Grandchildren Anthony Meyer, Sara (Scott) Meyer, Jacob (Jaki) Michalski, Matthew Scott, Shannon Michalski,  Emma McCormick, Thomas Michalski, Christopher Karcher and Brandon Karcher. FUNERAL MASS A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Father Randy Summers on July 23rd, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church, French Lick, Indiana. Cremation was chosen and burial will be at a later date at Patoka Memorial Cemetery, French Lick, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church, 8796 W. State Rd 56. French Lick, IN 47432.
