Anna Mae (Ann) Qualkinbush, 87, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of West Baden Springs, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on February 8th, 2023, at Hoosier Village in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was born in French Lick, Indiana, on July 14th, 1935, to Simon and Myrtle (Clements) Brosmer.
Ann married Raymond J. Qualkinbush on July 14th, 1953, and he preceded her in death on January 20th, 2006.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brothers – Ralph, Roy and wife Helen, Joe, Donald and Ray Brosmer, and her sister – Alvenia McFarland and husband Wallace.
Ann was a 1953 graduate of West Baden High School. During her time at WBHS, she was a member of the Sunshine Club, the cheerleading squad and basketball team (Freshman and Sophomore). She was also very active in the Fine Arts and class publications, including the school year book. After Ray and Ann married, they moved to Indianapolis, where she worked for several years at Farm Bureau Insurance Company. After starting a family, Ann supported Ray in his business, Qualkinbush Electrical Company while raising their boys.
She loved her flower garden and would spend hours landscaping, but what brought her most joy was her spending time with all of her family.
She was so loved and her beautiful smile will be missed by all.
Ann is survived by her sons, Rev. Tony Qualkinbush (Lee Ann) of Seneca, South Carolina, and Jeffery Qualkinbush, Esq. (Julie) of Zionsville, Indiana; her grandchildren, William Qualkinbush (Leah), Benjamin Qualkinbush (Caroline), Anna Gingrey (Will), Elizabeth Qualkinbush, Caitlin Qualkinbush and Corinne Qualkinbush; her great-grandchildren, Harper Qualkinbush and Joseph Qualkinbush, and many nieces and nephews.
