Auretta Cave, 77, of Crystal, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on April 15th, 2024 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky surrounded by her family.
She was born in Paoli, Indiana on November 20th, 1946 to Henry B. “Tommy” and Alice (Harrison) Edwards.
Auretta married Kenneth “Pete” Cave on June 26th, 1965 and he preceded her in death on October 17th, 2022.
She was also preceded in death by her Parents, Son – Daron Cave, Grandson – Dexter Royer, Sister – Jill Harrison and Niece - Amy Harrison.
Auretta was a 1964 graduate of Springs Valley High School, a member of Mount Lebanon Church where she sang in the choir, and a past member of Psi Iota Sorority.
She had currently worked at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare in Jasper as a surgery care liaison, as a Mary Kay consultant, had a bus route at NE Dubois Schools, and had owned and operated Auretta’s Gift Box.
Auretta loved her family, especially watching all of her grandchildren playing their many sports. She also enjoyed scrap booking.
She is survived by:

Daughters – Heather Royer (Butch) of Crystal, Indiana
Jennifer Bauer (Greg) of Crystal, Indiana
Grandchildren – Stephanie Stemle, Austin Royer, David Denzik, Reece Bauer, Arionna, Ellie and Havanna Cave
Great-Grandchildren – Hudson, Maggie, June and Laney Stemle
Step-Grandchildren – Cameron Cosby, Kendra Hill, Josh Royer and Codi Everman

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Friday, April 19th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Crystal Community Cemetery.
VISITATION
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 18th, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday, April 19th, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family where they will distribute to the charities of their choice.
