Barnetta Hendrix

Barnetta A. Hendrix, 91, of Dubois, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on March 26th, 2025 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, Indiana.

She was born in French Lick, Indiana on March 23rd, 1934 to Hermel G. and Rachel Irene (Mills) Parks.

Barnetta married Bleford Blaine Hendrix on June 28th, 1952 and he preceded her in death on March 9th, 2021.

She was also preceded in death by her Parents; Brothers – Harold Glen and Marvin Parks; Sister – Norma Wilson and Daughter – Janet McLane.

Barnetta was a 1952 graduate of French Lick High School and retired from Pluto as a line worker.

She was a member of the Elon Christian Church and attended Nicholson Valley Church.

Barnetta enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, reading, going places and out to eat.

She is survived by:

Daughters – Linda Benjamin (Kent) of Sun City West, Arizona

Pam Quinn (Brad) of Dubois, Indiana

Brother – Chester Parks of Paoli, Indiana

Sister – Doris Emmons of French Lick, Indiana

(11) Grandchildren and (24) Great-Grandchildren and (2) Great-Great-Grandchildren

FUNERAL CEREMONY

A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Mike O’Neill on Saturday, March 29th, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Elon Christian Church with burial to follow at Patoka Memorial Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, March 29th, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. Noon until the time of service at Elon Christian Church.
