Billie Fox, 78, of Jasper, Indiana, formerly of French Lick, gained her angel wings on January 13th, 2025 at Legacy Living of Jasper.
She was born in Orange County, Indiana on February 16th, 1946 to Everett Allen and Mildred Jean Kearby. Her mother married Harold Gillium and that is who Billie considered as her dad.
Billie married Carl Fox on January 1st, 1966 and he preceded her in death on October 29th, 2019.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Son – David Fox on March 25th, 1982, and Grandson Daniel Allbright on April 20th, 2018.
Billie was a 1964 graduate of Springs Valley High School and member of Youngs Creek Church of Christ.
She retired from Fast Eddies in 2005 after working there for 19 years. After retirement, she continued to work at Stoll’s Country Inn in Evansville, where she was the head cashier and enjoyed helping in the gift shop.
Billie loved playing cards, crossword puzzles, making new friends and spending time with her family.
She is survived by:
Daughters – Carla Miller (Rodney) of Washington, Indiana and Debra L. Prewitt of Orleans, Indiana
(6) Grandchildren – Ryan Miller (Jamie), Elisha Dewig, Tricia Russell (Curtis), David Allbright (Jacob), Kaitlynn Myler (Jessy), Tylar Prewitt.
(4) Great-Grandchildren – Emma and Henry Dewig and Brody and Clara Miller.
Great-Great-Granddaughter – Jazmine Myler
FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor David Galloway on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
VISITATION
Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
