Bonnie Allene Jones

Bonnie Allene Jones, 90, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on November 1st, 2023 at South Pointe Healthcare in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was born in Shoals, Indiana on January 11th, 1933 to Roy and Hattie Mae (Daugherty) Jones.

Bonnie married Clarence “Biddy” Jones on December 6th, 1963 and he preceded her in death on September 9th, 2002.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Sisters- Neva Walls and Violet Jones and Special Friends – Max Dawson and Oral Carnes, Jr.

Bonnie worked at Springs Valley Schools as a cook for over 25 years, where she was known as “Miss Bonnie” or “Mamaw”.
 
She enjoyed car rides, cooking, sewing, puzzle books, reading, gardening and live music at the Senior Center.

Bonnie is survived by:

Son – Glenn Jones (Heather) of Indianapolis, Indiana 

Grandson – Tyler Jones (Chad) of Atlanta, Georgia / Sheilah Lynn Jones of Atlanta, Georgia

Several Nieces, Great Nieces and many friends.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Emmons Ridge Cemetery.

VISITATION
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Emmons Ridge Cemetery Fund, c/o Kathy Kalb, 2494 Hillham Road, French Lick, Indiana 47432.
