Cecil Quinn, 98 years young, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on May 26th, 2016 at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick, Indiana.
He was born in Martin County, Indiana on November 9th, 1917 to Elza and Ida (Williams) Quinn.
Cecil married Ida Qualkenbush on October 17th, 1936 and she preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, (1) Daughter – Betty Campbell, (5) Brothers and (3) Sisters.
Cecil loved to garden. He always put out a large garden and ended up giving most of it away to friends and family.
He worked at the Sandstone Company in French Lick, in the coal mines and later retired from Owen’s Sawmill.
Cecil is survived by:
(2) Grandsons Lonnie Shepard French Lick, Indiana
Rick Shepard Spurgeon, Indiana
(1) Granddaughter Lorrie Brosmer French Lick, Indiana
(7) Great-Grandchildren (6) Great-Great-Grandchildren
GRAVESIDE CEREMONY
Graveside ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt on Tuesday, May 31st, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wininger Cemetery in Hillham, Indiana. Interment will be in the Wininger Cemetery in Hillham, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may call Tuesday, May 31st, 2016 from 10:00 to 12:00 (noon) at the T.L. Pinnick Chapel.
