Charles E. Ballard

Charles Edward Ballard, age 86, of West Baden Springs, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on January 6th, 2022 at IU Health Bedford, Bedford, Indiana.

He was born in Paoli, Indiana on August 17th, 1936 to Silas and Della (Phillips) Ballard.

Charles married Margaret Grigsby on October 20th, 1972 and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; (2) Sisters – Ruby Brace and Betty Brown; and
(1) Daughter – Wanda Shoults.

Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer and was working at French Lick Resort as a Pastry Chef.

He enjoyed cooking, reading, watching the news, fishing and traveling.

Charles is survived by:

Wife - Margaret Ballard of West Baden Springs, Indiana

(1) Daughter - Cheryl Lynn Ballard (Steve Moffatt) of West Baden Springs, Indiana

(2) Grandchildren Makenley and Jordan Moffatt

(1) Great-Grandchildren Gunner Edward Bisping

Cremation was chosen and there will no services.
