Danny Clipp, (Christopher D.), age 47, was born January 7th, 1977 to Harry D. Clipp and Mary (Sage) Jones in Paoli, IN. He ended his battle with Cancer on July 13th, 2024. He married Amy (Fuhs) Clipp on August 28th, 1999 and they have two children Brayton and Braelyn Clipp. He was employed by National Water Services and over the years served on the Orleans School Board, Bethel Cemetery Board, Orleans Little League Board, and the Orange County 4-H Council. He also ran sound for different bands. He coached many travel baseball teams and fall league baseball teams, with his last coaching venture helping with the West Washington Lady Senators Softball team.
As recently stated by a close friend, “He was a Honda Civic or a Ford Taurus. Maybe not fancy or flashy, never looking for attention, but ALWAYS there, and ALWAYS reliable. In a world where it’s all ‘Me, me, me!!’, Danny was the complete opposite. The day he was diagnosed with cancer the only thing he was mad about was the attention he’d get. Heck right when he was in the thick of it, he threw a benefit for someone else whom was going through treatment. They talk about guys that would give the shirts off their backs to others…Danny epitomized "that guy". Coaching kids beyond his own in sports and teaching them how to be respectful and responsible adults, taking kids and others hunting or fishing, encouraging others to succeed in whatever pursued and so so many more things he did behind the scenes. His generosity knew no bounds.
Danny loved hunting, fishing, watching and coaching baseball, helping with the W.W. Softball team, watching his kids in whatever they decided to take on from sports to academics and everything in between, spending time with his family and friends, listening to and finding new music, finding the best seafood and steakhouses, driving his old truck, and helping others.
Danny was proceeded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, several aunts and uncles, including one very special aunt Peggy Williams, step-father Mike Rutledge and several close friends.
Danny is survived by his wife, Amy Clipp, son Brayton Clipp, daughter Braelyn Clipp, his parents Harry Clipp and Mary Jones, 2 sisters, Christi (Justin) Morgan, and Mary (Eric) Rasico, several nieces and nephews including two of which he was very close to Hunter Morgan and Gavin Morgan.
