Claude "Gene" King

Claude “Gene” King, age 86, of French Lick, Indiana passed away August 20th, 2013 at Medco Health and Rehabilitation in French Lick, Indiana.

He was born on September 1st, 1927 to Claude Emmitt and Mary Olive “Followell” King.

He married Renolda Morrow on August 5th, 1950.

He was preceded in death by his parents, (2) Brothers, (2) Sisters and (1) Grandson.

Gene was a member of the West Baden First Baptist Church and graduated from Bedford High School in 1946.

He was the florist for the French Lick Springs Resort for 33 years.  

He is survived by:

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 22nd, 2013 at the West Baden First Baptist Church in West Baden Springs, Indiana. Friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 21st, 2013 at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday at the church.

Jim Tritle will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Mount Lebanon Cemetery in French Lick, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Angel Foundation C/O Hoosier Uplands or to the Mount Lebanon Cemetery Fund.
