Dave Nicholson

Paul D. “Dave” Nicholson, 73, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on October 12th, 2023 surrounded by his family at his residence.

He was born in French Lick, Indiana on August 18th, 1950 to Paul Edward “Nick” and Mary Lou (Kerby) Nicholson.

Dave married Debra “Dee Dee” Reid on November 7th, 1998 and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Dave was a 1968 graduate of Springs Valley High School, attended First Baptist Church and was a Surveyor for Indiana Department of Transportation.

He enjoyed golf, ping pong, walking, St. Louis Cardinals, IU Basketball and was an avid sports fan.

Dave is survived by:

Wife – Debra “Dee Dee” Nicholson of French Lick, Indiana

Daughter – Rene Nicholson Ingle (Dave) of French Lick, Indiana

Brother – Dennis Nicholson of French Lick, Indiana

Sister – Patti Tinkle (Bill) of French Lick, Indiana

(2) Grandchildren – Kearsten Mathies (Shaun) and Keegan Ingle (Megan)

(4) Great-Grandchildren
            

 FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt on Friday, October 20th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. 
at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Patoka Memorial Cemetery.

VISITATION
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, October 19th, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and on Friday, 
October 20th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Patoka Memorial Cemetery, 
c/o Carl Allen, 9491 W. State Road 56, French Lick, Indiana 47432 or Orange County Humane Society, 
856 N. Greenbriar Drive, Paoli, Indiana 47454.
