David W. Beck, age 73 of Salem, Indiana entered into eternal rest on October 25th, 2024 at his residence.
He was born in French Lick, Indiana on September 22nd, 1951 to Arthur and Ann (Hardin) Beck.
David married Rose Combs on May 21st, 2016 and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Brother – Richard Beck; Sister – Vicky Edmonds and his late wife Judy Cramer Beck.
David was a 1969 graduate of Paoli High School and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, where he spent the majority of his career as a radio operator at the Pentagon. He furthered his education earning an Associate’s Degree in Environmental Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Mary Washington University in Fredericksburg, Virginia. David retired working in Wastewater Management in Virginia. He also served as an EMT in Montross Virginia.
He was a member of Salem Wesleyan Church and French Lick American Legion Post 76 and earned his Eagle Scout.
David loved music in all genres, was an avid collector, especially Civil War items visiting many of the battlefield sites. He also enjoyed playing cards, and being with family and friends.
He is survived by:

Twin Sister – Donna Rutherford of Paoli, Indiana
Brothers – Aaron (Tonya) Beck of French Lick, Indiana
Darwin (Deborah) Beck of French Lick, Indiana
Daughters – Jill Tooley of French Lick, Indiana
Shawnita Tutt of French Lick, Indiana
Grandchildren – Alisha Tooley, Jordan Caudle, Trey (Maddie) Tooley, Kirstein (Damian) Hall, and Shakeria Tutt.
Great-Grandchildren – Zuri Grace Caudle-Miller, Kaberick Jones, and Mason and Sage Hall, and one on the way.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Steve Caniff on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home.
VISITATION
Visitation for friends and family will be Wednesday, October 30th, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Salem Wesleyan Church Building Fund, 607 N. College Avenue, Salem, IN 47167
