Freddy Bradley

Freddy Bradley, 89, of West Baden Springs, Indiana, formerly of Franklin, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on December 13th, 2024 at IU Health Paoli. 

He was born in Eminence, Indiana on July 9th, 1935 to Henry Ernest and Martha (Martin) Bradley.

Freddy married Helen June Lowe on February 14th, 1954 and she preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by his Parents; Son – Jeffery Bradley and Brother – Eugene Bradley.

Freddy was a life-time member of Hurricane Community Church in Franklin, was a 1953 graduate of Clark Township High School, proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1955-1957, and furthered his education at Indiana Business College.

His first job was a distributor for National Cash Register, then sold check writers for Pay Master. Freddy was principal at Indiana Business College from 1971-1979, and in 1980 started his own business, Bradley’s Lock and Key with his wife, daughter and son-in-law, where he was a locksmith for 45 years retiring in 2018.

Freddy loved the game of basketball and enjoyed watching IU and Purdue. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by:

Daughter – Diana Chandler (James) of West Baden Springs, Indiana

Sister-in-law – Esteline Bradley of Elizabethtown, Indiana

Grandchildren – Laura Chandler, Paul Chandler, April Dunn (Brent), Elizabeth Hirschauer (Seth) and Jared Bradley

Great-Grandchildren – Luke Dunn, Cooper Dunn, Violet Hirschauer and Avery Bradley

MEMORIAL CEREMONY

A Memorial Ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 21st, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Hurricane Community Church in Franklin, Indiana.

VISITATION

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, December 21st, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Burial will be held at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana.
