Gerald Gene Brown

Gerald Gene Brown, age 88, of West Baden Springs, Indiana entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 11th, 2020 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, Indiana.

He was born on February 26th, 1932 to John A. and Eliza J. (Belcher) Brown. 

Gerald married Mary Jane Alspaugh in May of 1991 and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; (3) Brothers – Earl, Clair and Ernest; and (4) Sisters – Hazel, Ruth, Della and Opal.

Gerald had been employed and retired from Andy Albertson Trucking where he hauled turkeys.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army, had previously been a member of the French Lick American Legion Post 76 and attended the Springs Valley Church of the Nazarene. Gerald enjoyed spending time with family and friends and watching Westerns on the television.

(1) Step-Daughter Becky Sergent (Randall) West Baden Springs, Indiana

Several Nieces, Nephews and Great-Nieces also survive.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE CEREMONY
Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 14th, 2020 at the Springs Valley Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Darrell Wineinger to officiate.
