Helen Marie Terry

Helen Marie Terry, age 76, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on November 23rd, 2023 at IU Health Bedford Hospital in Bedford, Indiana.

She was born in Paoli, Indiana on February 14th, 1947 to Alva Lee and Grace Louise (Haga) Bennett.

Helen was preceded in death by her Parents; Sisters – Donna Terry, Cora Mae Beaty, and Carol Kerns; Half-Brother – Maurice Bennett.

She was a hard worker all of her life working at the Villager Restaurant for many years as a waitress, Kimball, Fast Eddie’s and lastly IU Health Paoli Hospital where she was the night shift Environmental Specialist for over 10 years.

Helen enjoyed puzzles, crossword puzzles and tending to her plants and flowers. Most of all, Helen loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by:

Son – William Terry and wife Julie of French Lick, Indiana
           Daniel Terry of Odessa, Texas

Daughter – Rebecca Keefe and husband Michael of Mitchell, Indiana
                    Lori Hammons and husband Glen of French Lick, Indiana

Sister – Nancy Beaty of Bedford, Indiana

Half-Sisters – Judy Copeland of Campbellsburg, Indiana
                        Teresa Kirkpatrick of Ardmore, Oklahoma

Step-Sisters – Lolita Stroud of Akron, Indiana
                        Mona Hammons of French Lick, Indiana

(9) Grandchildren, several Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren also survive.

Cremation was chosen.
