James E. Bates

James E. Bates, age 88, of West Baden Springs, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on November 11th, 2021 at IU Health Paoli Hospital in Paoli, Indiana.

He was born in Lovable, Tennessee on November 19th, 1933 to Brian and Myrtle Bates.

James was preceded in death by his parents, wife, several brothers and sister, daughter, and granddaughter.

He enjoyed fishing, was a World War II veteran and a factory worker.

James is survived by:

(1) Son Rickey Bates (Ginnie) West Baden Springs, Indiana

(1) Daughter Sheila Ellis Monrovia, Indiana

(7) Grandchildren (15) Great-Grandchildren


CREMATION
Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
