He was born in Paoli, Indiana on May 16th, 1951 to Clellon Jackson and Wilma (Belcher) Jackson Campbell.
Jim married Deborah Esslinger on March 1st, 2000 and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and (1) Brother – Kenneth E. Jackson.
Jim was a 1969 graduate of Springs Valley High School and retired from U.S. Gypsum after 33 years.
He enjoyed inventing and building things, playing his guitar and harmonicas, camping and spending time with family and friends.
Jim is survived by:
Wife – Deborah Jackson of West Baden Springs, Indiana
Daughter – Amy Atkins (Trevor) of Athens, Alabama
Son – James Jackson (Tracy) of Danville, Indiana
Brother – Robert Jackson (Debbie) of Sugar Land, Texas
Sister – Dianna Smith (David) of Huntingburg, Indiana
Step-Daughter – Amy Porter (Jeff) of Wabash, Indiana
Step-Son – Andrew Bartoo (Paula) of Huntington, Indiana
Sister-in-Law – Mary Jackson of West Baden Springs, Indiana

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Craig Chestnut and Pastor Jeff Porter on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home.
VISITATION
Visitation for friends will be Tuesday, May 7th, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Gideon’s International.
