John Samuel Allen, (retired) SMSgt, age 78, of Evansville, Indiana formerly of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on December 24th, 2021 at Mount Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Vernon, Indiana.
He was born in Gary, Indiana on December 30th, 1942 to Samuel and Pauline Allen.
John was preceded in death by his Parents; Granddaughter – Victoria Allen; and Brother – Bill Allen.
He was married to Brenda G. Hubbard on November 23rd, 1963 and she survives.
John was a 1960 graduate of Springs Valley High School and retired from the United States Air Force after 30 years of military service.
He was a member of Elon Christian Church and served as youth Sunday School teacher and elder for many years.
He spent many hours in his “prayer room” and loved the Lord.
John is survived by:

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Bro. Bruce Cook on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Taswell Cemetery with military graveside rites performed by the French Lick American Legion Post 76.
VISITATION
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28th, 2021 and on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
