John David Deel, 54 years young, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on December 4th, 2017 at Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was born in Salem, Indiana on January 7th, 1963 to William John and Mary Jane (Hobson) Deel.
John married the love of his life, Billie Emmons on June 29th, 1984 and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his father.
John graduated from the Springs Valley High School with the Class of 1982. He was a member of Redemption Christian Church in Jasper Indiana and a Life Member of the Springs Valley Optimist Club. John loved spending time with his family and was very proud of them. He was known for his loving nature and big smile. His love of the outdoors was evident in all his hobbies â camping, boating, cutting wood and deer hunting.
He was a jack-of-all trades and could fix nearly anything he put his mind to. John showed his abilities most recently in his work at Styline Diesel Services in Huntingburg where he helped to maintain their fleet of trucks.

(1) Sister-in-law Tammy Cooke (Vince) French Lick, Indiana
Several Nieces, nephews and loving family and friends also survive.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE CEREMONY
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be conducted by Rev. Darrel Land at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7th, 2017 at the Redemption Christian Church in Jasper, Indiana. Burial will be at a later date in the Crystal Community Cemetery.
