Joseph Keith Owens

Joseph K. Owens, 68 of Paoli, Indiana entered into eternal rest on December 8th, 2024 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was born in Paoli, Indiana on June 22nd, 1956 to Thomas and Verna (Easter) Owens. 

Joseph was preceded in death by his Father; Brother – Terry Owens and Sister- Donna Prow.

He was a 1977 of Indiana School for the Deaf and had retired from OFS in Huntingburg, Indiana after 23 years.

Joseph loved spending time with family and friends, going to the Deaf Clubs, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by:

Mother – Verna Owens of Paoli, Indiana

Companion – Jackie Black of Paoli, Indiana

Brothers – Tony Owens (Angela) of Orleans, Indiana

 Danny Owens (Stacy) of Shoals, Indiana

 Tommy Owens (Robin) of French Lick, Indiana

 Mark Owens (Sandy) of Kentucky

Jackie’s Children – Margaret Black and Alexander Black of Michigan and Enoch Black of Indiana

(9) Grandchildren

Step -Children from previous marriage – Jane, Jennifer and James McQuiggan all of Indiana

He also has several nieces and nephews who loved him so much.

VISITATION

Visitation for friends and family will be on Thursday, December 12th, 2024 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
