Lauren Elizabeth Mathers

Lauren Elizabeth Mathers, 20, of Orleans, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on November 18th, 2023, when our Lord brought Lauren back to His kingdom.

She was born in Bloomington, Indiana on May 29th, 2003 to David and Margaret (Walton) Mathers, and from that day forward it has been Lauren’s world – full of learning, laughter, and love.

Lauren was preceded in death by her Grandparents – James and Elizabeth Mathers, and Alvin and Marilyn Walton.

She was an active member in the Orleans Bulldog community where she was a student at Orleans High School and a member of Paoli United Methodist Church.

Lauren is survived by:        

Parents – David and Margaret Mathers of Orleans, Indiana

Sister – Callie Mathers and fiancé Justin Ordonez of Savannah, Georgia

Grandparents – Charles and Lucinda Taber of Campbellsburg, Indiana

Also, countless family, nurses, friends, teachers and BEST friend Bella Houston, gained along the way.            

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Lamont Bonath and Tom Bostic on Wednesday, 
November 22nd, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at 
Claysville Cemetery, Campbellsburg, Indiana.

VISITATION
Visitation for friends and family will be Tuesday, November 21st, 2023 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday,               November 22nd, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Lauren’s teacher, Mrs. Lisa Higgins of Orleans High School for her classroom, Orleans and Paoli Food Banks and Paoli United Methodist Church.
