Lavon "Lee" Phillips

Lavon Lee Phillips, age 80, of French Lick, Indiana passed away on March 25th, 2018 at Springs Valley Meadows, French Lick, Indiana.
He was born in French Lick, Indiana on December 24th, 1937 to Delbert Phillips and Eula (Freeman) Phillips.
Lee married Inajene “Dee†Taylor on February 3rd, 1962 and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, (1) Son – Richard Phillips; (2) Daughters – Tammy Phillips and Diane Wesner; and (2) Brothers – Kenneth and Donald Phillips.
Lee was a graduate of Detroit Public School, proudly served in the United States Navy and worked for many years for the Sheraton Hotel, French Lick Springs Hotel and French Lick Resort in golf operations where he performed many jobs.
He loved to play golf, was a history buff and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Lee is survived by:

CELEBRATION OF LIFE CEREMONY
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 at the Brosmer-Kemple Chapel, French Lick, Indiana. Cremation was chosen and burial will be at a later date at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, French Lick, Indiana.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
