Lou Ann Lindsey Pritchett, age 71, of West Baden Springs, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on December 8th, 2020 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital, Bloomington, Indiana.
She was born in Bedford, Indiana on September 10th, 1949 to Chester “Chig” and Louise (Cantner) Lindsey.
Lou Ann married Larry Steven Pritchett on June 29th, 1968 and he preceded her in death on January 27th, 2013.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Lou Ann was a 1967 graduate of Springs Valley High School and had attended Indiana State University.
She had worked in the Guidance Office at Springs Valley High School for many years, where she helped a countless number of students in so many ways. After retirement from the school, she eventually went to work for two of her best friends in their medical office – Dr. John Collier and Sharon Collier.
Lou Ann was an adventurer. She loved being outdoors and going on adventures with her kids, and later her grandkids. She loved camping, water skiing, and of course, watching any of her kids and grandkids participate in sports or other activities. She was always up for a good debate or discussion, and almost always referred back to the Bible for where and how she formed her opinions.
She loved her family. She was so proud of her three children and eleven grandchildren, devoting her life to supporting them in everything they were in involved in. From ballgames to music recitals, showing animals in 4-H, and Academic Bowls; if she could be there to support them, she was.
