Lynden Paul “Lyn” Hobson, 65, of Columbus, Indiana entered into eternal rest on October 12th, 2023 at
Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour, Indiana.
He was born in Salem, Indiana on October 3rd, 1958 to Frank and Sue (Land) Hobson.
Lyn married Melissa Jean Collins on October 26th, 1979 and she survives.
He was a 1976 graduate of Springs Valley High School, graduated from Vincennes University with an Associate Degree, was a member of Kosair Shriners and worked over 21 years as a Locomotive Engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad.
Lyn enjoyed woodworking, metal working, piloting airplanes, and grilling and smoking barbeque.
He is survived by:

Parents – Frank and Sue Hobson of French Lick, Indiana
Sons – Jacob E. Hobson (Marian Homans-Turnbull) of Berkley, California
Lucas A. Hobson (Dan Estadilla Hobson) of Columbus, Indiana
Brother – Tony Hobson of Paoli, Indiana
Sister – Cris Hobson (Ann Powell) of Evansville, Indiana
Mother-in-law – Joyce Collins of French Lick, Indiana
FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Bro. Jack Wilson on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with Masonic Services at 11:00 a.m.
VISITATION
Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service
at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Mount Lebanon Cemetery at a later date.
