Marilyn Elise Ellis

Marilyn Clay Ellis, age 71, of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of French Lick, Indiana passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona.

She was born on September 28, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to Bryon and Ramona “Cope” Clay.

She was a 1958 graduate of Springs Valley High School, 1962 graduate of Indiana State University and retired school teacher and accountant.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by:

Husband:            Dr. Joseph E.  Ellis Phoenix, Arizona

(1) Daughter      Mary K. Ellis Windermere, Florida

(1) Brother       B. Jan Clay Venice, Florida

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10:00AM at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick, Indiana. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Officiating is Pastor Joan Daniels.

Burial will follow in the Cuzco Community Cemetery, Cuzco, Indiana

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Salvation Army, c/o Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, 9640 W. State Rd 56, French Lick, IN 47432.
