Marjorie Land

Marjorie (Harrison) Land, 86, of West Baden Springs, Indiana entered into eternal rest on October 11th, 2020 at Deaconess Hospital Midtown, Evansville, Indiana.

She was born in Orange County, Indiana on June 11th, 1934 to Harold Leon Harrison and Rosemary (Lashbrook) Harrison.

Marjorie married Donald Lee Land on August 2nd, 1952 and he preceded her in death on May 12th, 1997.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; (1) Sister – Martha Sue Lomax; (1) Granddaughter – Lindsey Miller; and (1) Great-Granddaughter – Eden Wilkerson.

Marjorie was a 1952 graduate of French Lick High School, a member of Red Quarry Christian Church and the Red Quarry LBOL.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed sitting in the sunroom watching all of the animals.  She especially loved being with her family.

She is survived by:

Harold Land (Debbie) French Lick, Indiana
David Land Jasper, Indiana

(3) Daughters Janet Land West Baden Springs, Indiana
Rose Ann Land West Baden Springs, Indiana
Denise Miller (Tom) Jasper, Indiana

(11)  Grandchildren (28) Great-Grandchildren (5) Great-Great-Grandchildren and one on the way

GRAVESIDE FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Graveside Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Brother Joe Crow at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, French Lick, Indiana with burial to follow.

VISITATION
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 from 10:00 a.m.– 12:00 Noon at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick, Indiana.

The family requests that all who attend please comply to social distancing guidelines and wear a face covering while paying your respects during the visitation and graveside service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the family for their wishes.
