Michael T. Rafferty, 74, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on March 10th, 2023 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington, Indiana.
He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 7th, 1948 to Robert Thomas and Thelma Maxine (Dugger) Rafferty.
Michael married Michelle Irwin on June 21st, 2014 and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his Parents.
Michael was a 1967 graduate of Manual High School, proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of the French Lick American Legion Post 76.
He retired from Eli Lilly and then worked at French Lick Springs Resort.
Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and his family.
He is survived by:
Wife - Michelle Rafferty of French Lick, Indiana
(2) Sons – Pat Rafferty (Susie) of Martinsville, Indiana
Matthew Rafferty (Brandy) of Iowa
(1) Daughter – Christina Rafferty (Dennis) of Indianapolis, Indiana
(1) Sister - Kathy Greenwood of Indianapolis, Indiana
8 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Granddaughter
FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick, Indiana. Burial will be held at a later date.
VISITATION
Visitation for friends and family will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516
