N. Jean Bird

N. Jean Bird, 86, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on May 31th, 2018 at Springs Valley Meadows, French Lick, Indiana.

She was born in French Lick, Indiana on August 19th, 1931 to William Henry and Lillan Mae (Burton) Royer.

Jean married Donald R. Bird 1951 and he preceded her in death December 20th, 2015.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, (2) Brothers – Glen and Dale Royer and (4) Sisters – Rosemary Palmer, Ruth Waggoner, Bernice Mosley and Mertle Parrot.

Jean was a graduate of French Lick High School Class of 1950, a member of Springs Valley Wesleyan Church where she taught Sunday School for over 60 years and enjoyed working in her landscaping.

She retired as Senior Trust Officer at Springs Valley Bank and Trust.

Jean is survived by:

Tim Bird (Cynthia) Jasper, Indiana

(5) Grandchildren Brandy, Jason, Brad, Justin, and Timothy Aaron

(7) Great-Grandchild Darian, Kennedy, Sara, Iain, Callen, Liam, and Ryker

(4) Great-Great-Grandchildren Keira, Cree, Paisley and Briella

FUNERAL CEREMONY
The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4th, 2018 at the Springs Valley Wesleyan Church in French Lick, Indiana. Private interment will follow in the Mount Lebanon Cemetery in French Lick, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday, June 4th, 2018 at the Springs Valley Wesleyan Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Memory of Jean to the Springs Valley Wesleyan Church, 821 S. Indiana Avenue, French Lick, Indiana 47432.
