Richard “Rich” Harold Morgan, age 90, of Whiteland, Indiana entered into eternal rest on September 24th, 2022 at 
St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born in Hillham, Indiana on October 29th, 1931 to Harold S. and Alice (Reynolds) Morgan. 

Richard married Sharron Rose Marshall on June 6th, 1958 and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; (1) Sister and (2) Brothers.

Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army, was awarded the Sagamore of the Wabash by the Governor and was a member of the United Methodist Church.

He was the President of the Indianapolis Livestock Market and continued his career with the Indiana State Board of Animal Health as a Field Inspector for the Dairy and Licensing Divisions. Outside of work, he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his dogs and family.

Richard is survived by:

 Wife – Sharron Morgan 

(1) Son – Tony Morgan (Debbie) 

(1) Daughter – Tarita McPherson (Bill)

(2) Grandchildren    (2) Great-Grandchildren


Cremation was chosen.

VISITATION
Friends and family are invited on Saturday October 1st, 2022 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. to share memories and celebrate the life of Richard. 

In memory of Richard the family requests donations be made to your local animal rescue organization.
