Rickie Dean Wininger

Rickie Dean Wininger, 70, of French Lick, lost his battle at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.

He was born December 9th, 1954 to Gerald and Mary “Bonnie” (Haefling) Wininger.

Rickie was preceded in death and reunited with his parents, his twin sister Vickie, his brothers Gordon and Steven and granddaughter Tilena.

He attended Springs Valley School and went on to provide for his family at Kimballs and then excelled as a construction worker before retiring from Jasper Lumber Company after 25 years.

Rickie enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything he could do with his hands. However, his greatest enjoyment came from the love and devotion to his family. He shared an everlasting love with his soulmate and wife, Sherrie “Sis”. He was a devoted and selfless to a fault father to his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.

He will be missed by all those that were blessed to know his sense of humor, his passion to help anyone and his legacy of love.

The love of his life – Sherrie “Sis”.

Children – Christy (Rob), Brandy (Mike), April, Linda and Michael.

Siblings – Jerry, Sherry and sister-in-law Donna.

Step-Dad – Stanley

(14) Grandchildren – Raven, Wade (Sylvia), Alexis (Jake), Madison, Spencer, Ashley, Camilla, Jake William, Chasity, Fantasy, Ramsey, Tori, Miles and Maelie.

(13) Great-Grandchildren – Kayden, Mason, Addelynn, Jaxon, Cooper, Calliope, Zane, Luca, Blayne, Bullock, Aria, Ryker and Beckett.

FUNERAL CEREMONY

A Funeral Ceremony will be Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. Noon at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, March 31st, 2025 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
