Sammy Mark Hammond, 64 years young, of Paoli, Indiana entered into eternal rest on February 11th, 2016 at his residence.
He was born on February 10th, 1952 in French Lick, Indiana to Samuel and Mildred (Wininger) Hammond.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Sammy graduated from the Springs Valley High School with the Class of 1970. He worked at U.S. Gypsum in Shoals, Indiana but then decided to follow in his fatherâs and brothersâ footsteps by joining the Pipefitters Union. He was a member of the U.A. Local 136 Plumbers and Steamfitters out of Evansville, Indiana; the Menâs Auxiliary VFW Post 8302 in Paoli and the Loyal Order of the Moose Orange County #2530 also in Paoli.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Sam Vernon at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 15th, 2016 at the Brosmer-Kemple Chapel in French Lick, Indiana. Burial will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
VISITATION
Friends may call Monday, February 15th, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of ceremony at the Brosmer-Kemple Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Mount Lebanon Cemetery, c/o Wayne Ferguson, 9711 W. State Rd 56, French Lick, IN 47432.
