Samuel Ryan Burton

Samuel Ryan Burton, 62 of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on October 22nd, 2024 with family by his side.

He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 19th, 1962 to James R. Burton and Vicki (Hisgen) Burton

Sam was preceded in death by his Father. 

He was a 1981 graduate of Springs Valley High School, proudly served his country in the United States Navy, retired from Crane, was past trustee of American Legion Post 76, past member of Teamsters Union and was owner and operator of Burton Stump Removal. 

Sam enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, vacationing on the beaches in Florida and South Carolina, an avid IU fan, driving his side-by-side, an unsuccessful hunter, fishing, and was very proud of his new tractor. One of his greatest enjoyments was coaching the Springs Valley Youth Football League, but most of all, he loved being with his family and friends.

He is survived by:

Mother – Vicki Burton

Sons – Brogan Burton (Grace), Cole Burton (Jesse), and Ian Stephenson (Shelby)

Daughters – Bella Burton (Reece), Skylar Whiteman (Alex), and Ryan E. Lee (Parker)

Brother – Brent Burton (Sandy)

Grandchildren – Kinley, Lainey, Baker, Moxon, and Boden

Partner - Canessa

Nephew – James 

Niece – Hannah 

FUNERAL CELEBRATION

A Funeral Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow in Ames Chapel Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation will be on Friday, October 25th, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 from 

9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Springs Valley Youth Football League.
