Steven Wayne Abel

Steven Wayne Abel, 60, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on June 11th, 2024 at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick, Indiana.

He was born in Paoli, Indiana on January 6th, 1964 to Thomas L. and Oris J. (Wright) Abel.

Steven was preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers – Glenn Abel and Robert Lee Abel and Sister – Carletta Slaten.  

He was a graduate of Cascade High School and was a member of the Springs Valley Wesleyan Church.

Steven enjoyed collecting Larry Bird cards and spending time with family.
 
He is survived by:

Brother – David Abel of Valpen, Indiana

Sister – Ethel Abel of Plainfield, Indiana

Cousin – Randy Sanders, Sr. of Paoli, Indiana 

Nephew – Mark Abel of Washington, Indiana


FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt on Monday, June 17th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Bethany Union Cemetery in Eckerty, Indiana.


VISITATION
Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, June 17th, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
